Fekkai - Glossing Cream



I'm almost at a point where I won't leave the house without throwing a bit of this stuff on my hair. It never fails to make my hair look shiny and healthy. Put a pea size amount in the palm of your hand and thoroughly emulsify it by rubbing your hands together until it's almost clear on your hands and fingers. Then rub it through your hair from the ends up. Add more in the same manner if necessary. It's especially effective for that first day frizz.

I love this product. I like to mix it with the Fekkai Bella Curls product. It smells great too!

Ive heard alot of testimonials on this product..I have tons of flyaways after I do a blowout on my super-thin hair..think this would remedy that?

There is no hold to this product, just shine. flyaways might be better controlled by a styling cream. Ojon has a light weight formula which might be good for your thin hair.

Huxley Secret of Sahara Oil Essence; Essence-Like, Oil-Like

My dearest husband surprised me for my birthday last year by going to a beauty store in Korea Town, Los Angeles to buy me skin care. He says he finally figured it out. Skincare for me is like records and CDs are to him. I feel seen. Thanks to the advice of some clearly knowledgeable sales clerks in Korea Town, he got me some truly delightful products. But for me to blog about a product I have to be madly in love. For the record I am currently out of my Huxley Oil Essence and it is frankly affecting my self esteem. This is not an exaggeration. To Good Genes or not to Good Genes. That is the Question.

There is a lot of buzz out there for the cult favorite GOOD GENES ($105). But Sunday Riley, the brand which makes this cult phenomenon is also cultivating a lot of buzz for bad business practices. I'm not one for supporting a company that fakes reviews. Maybe those fake reviews created the buzz to make GOOD GENES phenomenon; maybe they didn't. But in truth real people do love the product. Because lactic acid is an effective ingredient. Lactic acid, is lactic acid though. There are plenty of other brands that carry a good lactic acid product. For a one to one, meaning basically the same product/function, I actually prefer Tata Harper RESURFACING SERUM ($88). GOOD GENES is good but in my experience RESURFACING SERUM from Tata Harper is better and more effective. I recently discovered Thrive OVERNIGHT SENSATION Brightening Sleep Mask ($62) which combines glycolic and lactic acid and that is working well for me right now.
