Philosophy - Purity Made Simple


This is the best cleanser I have found.  It gently removes your makeup and deeply cleanses your skin.  I don't use makeup remover because this does the trick in one step.  Plus I don't get that tight, uncomfortable, dry feeling after I cleanse with Purity Made Simple.  I love it so much, I keep it in my shower and next to my bathroom sink so that I don't have to go hunting for it.  I recommend using this at night and an exfoliating cleanser in the morning.  An 8 oz. bottle of Purity Made Simple goes for about $20.

I see that you enjoy a lot of the philosohpy products. Me too! I'd love to get your opinion on the new Miracle Worker. Also, have you tried the Tarte Lip Stain Pencil?

Ok, so I was referred to your site by one of your fans (Ryan Black), and I owe him big! It's fantastic! I too have a blog, but it caters more to the beauty hoarder/junkie, rather than practical tips for the sensible gal. I'm a novice in bloggerology, but I'd love for you to check it out. Huxley Secret of Sahara Oil Essence; Essence-Like, Oil-Like

My dearest husband surprised me for my birthday last year by going to a beauty store in Korea Town, Los Angeles to buy me skin care. He says he finally figured it out. Skincare for me is like records and CDs are to him. I feel seen. Thanks to the advice of some clearly knowledgeable sales clerks in Korea Town, he got me some truly delightful products. To Good Genes or not to Good Genes. That is the Question.

There is a lot of buzz out there for the cult favorite GOOD GENES ($105). But Sunday Riley, the brand which makes this cult phenomenon is also cultivating a lot of buzz for bad business practices. I'm not one for supporting a company that fakes reviews. Maybe those fake reviews created the buzz to make GOOD GENES phenomenon; maybe they didn't. But in truth real people do love the product. Because lactic acid is an effective ingredient. Lactic acid, is lactic acid though. There are plenty of other brands that carry a good lactic acid product. For a one to one, meaning basically the same product/function, I actually prefer Tata Harper RESURFACING SERUM ($88). GOOD GENES is good but in my experience RESURFACING SERUM from Tata Harper is better and more effective. I recently discovered Thrive OVERNIGHT SENSATION Brightening Sleep Mask ($62) which combines glycolic and lactic acid and that is working well for me right now.
