It's really so simple.  Most of us refuse to drink tap water so why do we allow unfiltered water to absorb into our skin and hair every day?  Over the years, I have certainly heard that filtered water is better for your hair but I frankly assumed it was cost prohibitive.  Recently, I read a book which extolled the virtues of using a filtered shower head and I was finally inspired.  After a bit of searching, at $39.95, this shower head seemed very reasonble so (forgive me) I took the plunge!  A few weeks later, my skin and hair are definitely thanking me.  My hair is softer and the dry, itchy patches on my sensitive skin are definitely improved.  Do youself this favor and get a shower filter!  You won't regret it.          April Shower APHH Handheld Shower Head and Filter Includes Pulse Massage

Yum. Philosophy is well known for these all in one body wash, shampoo, and conditioners that smell exactly like pie, cake, and cookies. Other great 'flavors' are pumpkin pie, waffle cone, red delicious apple, and lemon custard. I don't know how they do it, but they get the scents exactly right. There is something so special and decadent about sudsing up in a steamy hot shower surrounded by the smell of some sinful dessert. Call me crazy, but it seems to satisfy my cravings for sweets. The cinnamon buns is really wonderful. I'm sad when I don't have a bottle of this in my shower. I don't miss any of the other 'flavors' but this one is a must have. Plus this formulation is a good shampoo/conditioner combo to have in your rotation for those days when you don't have a lot of time to wash your hair.
