Talika Lipocils Eyelash Conditioning Gel

So if it isn't obvious already, I'm pretty obsessed with making my eyelashes look better. Mine are extremely straight and turn down. They are also pretty darn sparse. Imagine how the idea of a conditioning gel for your lashes would perk my interest. I have been amazed by this treasure and have given it as a gift to several of my friends. Just like any skin care, it doesn't work unless you use it. I'll tell you right now that I don't think I remember to apply this often enough but what little I do has transformed my lashes. They are fuller and longer by far! Seriously. It's a small miracle. This goes for around $19 and I've heard there are other similar products on the market that are much more expensive. This is the only version I've tried and I love it. Also, here is a little known trick. If you're brow deficient (aka over plucked), comb a little into your brows. You should see more growth.

To Good Genes or not to Good Genes. That is the Question.

There is a lot of buzz out there for the cult favorite GOOD GENES ($105). But Sunday Riley, the brand which makes this cult phenomenon is also cultivating a lot of buzz for bad business practices. I'm not one for supporting a company that fakes reviews. Maybe those fake reviews created the buzz to make GOOD GENES phenomenon; maybe they didn't. But in truth real people do love the product. Because lactic acid is an effective ingredient. Lactic acid, is lactic acid though. There are plenty of other brands that carry a good lactic acid product. For a one to one, meaning basically the same product/function, I actually prefer Tata Harper RESURFACING SERUM ($88). GOOD GENES is good but in my experience RESURFACING SERUM from Tata Harper is better and more effective. I recently discovered Thrive OVERNIGHT SENSATION Brightening Sleep Mask ($62) which combines glycolic and lactic acid and that is working well for me right now. Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara

Never in my life have I been able to wear mascara on my lower lashes. The shape of my eye pretty much ensures a very grave raccoon eye situation. I can't say I experience much angst about this condition. Such is life. I honestly didn't know I cared until I got Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara. So this is one of those Facebook ad stalker situations. I was getting the ad for this mascara constantly until I finally caved and made the purchase. There is a sucker born every minute and when it comes to mascara, I'm a sucker. Of course I had to get past the name. It's forgivable, but the word Causemetics makes me itch and I'm not thrilled about typing it out right now. But this mascara is something.
